Lifestream Chronicles is designed with a privacy-first approach. The following information is not collected by us:

• Your personal entries, text, or journal content
• Your voice recordings or audio files
• Your photos or images
• Your location data
• Your contacts or social media information
• Your browsing history or device usage patterns
• Any content you create within the App

All of your personal content is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

2. Information That May Be Collected

We may collect minimal information in the following circumstances:

a. Device Information

When you install or update the App, your device may automatically send standard technical information to the app store (Google Play or Apple App Store), such as device model, operating system version, and crash logs. This is handled by the respective app store platform, not by us directly.

b. In-App Purchases

If you purchase the DIY Export Kit, Draft Autobiography, or Full-Service Book, transaction information is processed through the platform's payment system (Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase). We receive only the confirmation that a purchase was completed — not your payment details. For the Draft Autobiography and Full-Service Book tiers, we may request your name and email to deliver the service.

c. Contact Form Submissions

If you use the contact form on our website, we collect the name, email address, subject, and message you provide. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

Any information we collect is used only for:

• Delivering purchased services (e.g., sending your exported manuscript or coordinating your book project)
• Responding to your support inquiries
• Improving the App experience based on aggregated, anonymized crash reports

4. Data Storage & Security

Your personal content — entries, voice recordings, photos, and reflections — is stored exclusively on your device using secure local storage. We use industry-standard encryption (Flutter Secure Storage) for sensitive data. No personal content is uploaded to cloud servers unless you explicitly use a sharing or export feature.

5. Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services:

• Google Fonts — for font rendering
• Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchase — for processing payments
• Device speech-to-text APIs — voice transcription runs locally on your device

These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only:

• With service providers who assist in delivering purchased services (e.g., our editorial team for the Draft Autobiography tier), under strict confidentiality agreements
• If required by law or to protect our legal rights

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access, modify, or delete your content at any time within the App
• Uninstall the App, which removes all locally stored data
• Request deletion of any information we may have collected (e.g., contact form submissions, purchase-related data)
• Opt out of any optional data collection

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or via email if we have your contact information.
